Join Us on Driving for Kids, Colorado Style

Driving for Kids is an event for classic cars whose owners wish to drive them on spectacular mountain roads in the company of like cars while raising money for the Roundup River Ranch. The event is conducted in the spirit of “Motoring” on public roads at posted speeds: there are no checkpoints or deliberately vague, misleading or trick instructions. We define an eligible car as one that is at least 30 years old that would make the kids at camp want to sit in the driver’s seat and would produce a giggle.

What is Driving for Kids?

The Charity

Our charity of choice, Roundup River Ranch is a medically-supported camp for children with chronic and life-threatening illnesses. At camp, the children can just feel incredible, no matter what illness they’re battling. The focus is on fun, not their conditions. Most importantly, they are given an experience that energizes their spirits, allowing them to simply enjoy the fun, games, and joys of childhood – all free to campers and their families.
